Since 1997 I've been spinning tales about dishes from the quirky and exotic to the grandma-made classics, and the people who prepare, serve and eat them. Although I adore cooking, which for me is relaxation, diversion and creative expression, even better is the joy of exploring food that other people have cooked and so discovering who they are.
Good food treats all the senses, from the deep colors of sashimi to the aroma that tells you the haricots verts are blanched just so. I think food is one of mankind's great arts, bestowing sustenance and pleasure both. The world is full of a diverse and splendid variety of edibles and I've enjoyed discovering them in Europe, Mexico, Southeast Asia and around the USA as well.
